Cold upsetting process (1) According to the metal plastic deformation theory, the cold upsetting machine applies a certain pressure on the metal billet at room temperature to cause plastic deformation in the mold cavity, forming according to the specified shape and size. (2) The cold heading machine must be made of high-quality metal materials with good "plastic deformation", such as rivet steel, whose chemical composition and mechanical properties have strict standards. (3) There are many models and series of cold heading bolt and nut forming machines. The cold heading machine has reliable performance, high efficiency and stable product quality. (4) The cold upsetting machine has large forming and upsetting force, powerful configuration and large equipment investment at one time. Therefore, the production specification below M24 is the most economical. (5) It has good surface quality and high dimensional accuracy. Due to cold work hardening in the process of upsetting, the deformation of cold upsetting machine should not be too large. Cracking must be reduced. (6) Cold heading machine technology is applicable to products with large batch and various specifications, so as to reduce costs and generate greater benefits.
